The Authority
is a governmental sector
in charge of the establishment and development of
new urban communities.

Objective

Creation of new civilized centers for achieving community stability and
economic prosperity .

Redistribution of inhabitants far from the narrow stripe of the Nile
valley .

Development of new attraction areas beyond the existing cities and
villages .0

Extension of urban spines to the desert and remote areas.

They are new cities planned and implemented according to the latest
planning systems. They have been planned on three generations.24

in addition to other 3 new cities which are currently
being planned.

New cities have been first funded by the State,
then by self-financing by
the sale of land and real estate.
New
cities are managed by executive authorities (under the
presidency of New Urban Communities Authority) and civil society
participation through the boards of trustees representing
segments of society, investors and governmental
service authorities
